 We have a thing here when the weather
and all cooperates -
a fire
pit, Murphy's
Fire Pit to
be exact, and we cook dogs and
marshmallows and stuff. We were informed by
our country health dept that we cannot give
you hot dogs and marshmallows without them
being in a sealed from the store container
unopened. So we will comply by having them
available in a sealed container fresh from
the grocery store or if you like, bring yours
and we will cook them! Our policy regarding
cookout or anything we do is on us and
please no tipping! Or throwing things at
the cook!
No rotten remarks will be tolerated
about my cooking
period! Some exceptions
apply, if you're cute!
This B&B is
your home away from home. Please enjoy it
and come back, YA-all. This a fun place and
relaxing. Get away from your troubles and
start ours!

Policies
Please - no smoking in any room or
suite in any of our Maggie Valley Cabin
Rentals or Maggie Valley Lodging facilities. However, on the famous rocking chair
porch, or on your private deck and or patio, smoke away if you like, but only there
please.
Breakfast is at approximately 9:00AM unless you
are going someplace early, we can and will
work it out!
And things we should know re: your breakfast
let us know as well! Our breakfasts usually
are themed as are the suites. We serve
mountain breakfasts such as Mountain Waffles
and Cream with Eggs, City Ham and Mountain
Bacon (fancy name for bacon and eggs), fruit
always, and mountain-grown Dunkin' Donuts
coffee (right from Dunkin Donuts store), decaf as well. Milk, is mountain milk and
skimmed. (Everything here is mountain
something) The dining room is formal but the
attire is casual - but the music is
classical! Anyplace else it's mountain music
and bluegrass.
Check-in time is 3:00 to 6:00PM so go to
your reserved suite, freshen up! Check out
time is 11:00AM. Now come on down and meet
the host (that's a hoot) and your newest
best friends and take a little tour! Your
entrance is conveniently located on the
right side of the ranch as you come in. The
main entrance is in the middle and the
library and dining rooms are off to your
left. Follow signs, enter through the hall of
fame and go through door marked suites (how
clever) yours will be either up or down and
marked on door, as well as a sign (happy
hunting). When the light goes on in your
room close to the door, its chow time or someone
needs you! Come to office! Or whatever!
Cancellation Policy
By making a guaranteed reservation with
Misty Mountain Ranch B&B and Cabins, you are
agreeing with the following:
Our cancellation policy is really quite
simple, anytime up to two weeks before your
arrival you may cancel and expect a full
refund minus a 10% cancellation fee. If you
elect to cancel within the two weeks and up
to the arrival date or elect to no show, we
will charge you for the reservation with no
exception, if the cancellation is due to a
medial emergency we may at our discretion
allow you to use your reservation up to
one year from your arrival date. The credit
is for the original date reservation only
and NO cash refunds will be allowed on the
rescheduled date. The reason is Misty
Mountain Ranch B&B and our Maggie Valley Cabins is by
reservation only. Our cabins are all
400 sq ft. with one bedroom and one bath.
They have two pull out sofas as well as a
loft that sleeps two or more. They are
designed for a family of four but can
accommodate as many as 6 people. If you are
a no show, the cancellation policy will be
strictly enforced.
