it’s because you’re looking for a place that
has it all, and we do! We’re country, and
very proud of it. My name is Captain Peter -
let me answer some of the questions you may
have:
Is it true you’re an award-winning inn?
Yes, it’s true (shucks).
Is it true that your suites have
everything in them? Yes (shucks again).
Our Maggie Valley Lodging faclilties have king size beds, microwaves,
refrigerators, 2-person Jacuzzis, wood
burning fireplaces, free firewood, wood
decks overlooking the waterfall and NC trout
pond, coffee makers, hair dryers, and irons.
We even have a suite containing a formerly
operating still!
Well, what do you not have? Y’all are
the only thing missing!
Are you pet friendly? We sure offer North Carolina
pet friendly cabins.
And what about my children?
Absolutely! The happy sounds of kids are
always welcome here.
What types of things can we do on our
visit? There are many fun outdoor activities in the
Great Smoky Mountains, Maggie Valley and the
surrounding areas. North Carolina whitewater rafting,
horseback riding, steam train rides, trout
fishing, Biltmore House, Harrah's Casino,
skiing at Cataloochee, hiking, snowboarding,
reunions and so much more. Also...another
favorite pastime is to DO NOTHING AT ALL!
Is it true that you’re the home of the
famous Holy Water maker (Moonshiner Popcorn
Sutton)? Yep – and we love POP CORN!
We are country and friendly, with a great
sense of humor. The inn has a casual, rustic
elegance. Now you’ve met me, and I would
like to meet you! So come on home to Maggie Valley; we’re
waiting – Mz Karen Hession and I will be
your welcoming hosts, along with our ducks
(over 100), our chickens (your eggs in the
a.m.) and lots of friendly critters. |
